Centre for Gippsland Studies
The Centre for Gippsland Studies (CGS) encourages and facilitates research into and interpretation of the Gippsland region, as well as rural and regional Australia. Particular research strengths include history, literature, Aboriginal cultures, education, land use, environment and natural resources, mineral extraction, labour history and social structure of Gippsland.
