The Brian McLennan Art Scholarship is a visual arts scholarship and was created in recognition of the contribution made by Brian McLennan to the teaching of arts at the School of Mines and Industries Ballarat (SMB), now a campus of Federation University Australia. SMB had a long and proud history in teaching art, and Brian McLennan as a teacher, Head of Department and Assistant Director had a major influence on the teaching programs over the period 1976 – 1999.

Eligibility criteria

Students enrolled in the Diploma of Graphic Design who intend to pathway into the second year of the Bachelor of Communication Design. At the time of the application and on receipt of the scholarship the recipient must be enrolled as a full time student.
