Rewards

We want to celebrate you - the students who go above and beyond to make other people's lives better.

You can earn one of our prestigious awards by getting involved for as little as 13 hours throughout the year. You and your work could also be showcased on social media or the local press, and of course the skills and networks you gain will help you to stand out from the crowd.

Awards

We know that different people have different constraints on their time and so we have a tiered award system to recognise everyone's efforts over the year. Volunteer hours can be counted from November-October and points are gained from January-October, unless by prior agreement. A leadership role is generally across the whole year and you do not need to record hours.

Recognition

As well as the end-of-year awards, we like to shout about our amazing students throughout the year! If you're doing something cool, let us know -  we can share it on Social Media, the website, the newsletter etc.

Employability

Just by taking on a leadership or volunteer role, you will be gaining skills, experiences and networks that will help you when it's time to finish Uni. By attending workshops, conferences etc. you'll add to that even further, and one of our awards looks fantastic on the resume!

If you'd like more info on how leadership/volunteering can contribute to career success, or want to know how to 'sell' your experience on an application or at interview, have a chat to FedUni's Careers Service.
