Personal Leadership Workshop (5 Points for attending):
This one hour leadership development workshop will help you explore your personal values and goals to work out what it is you want out of life and how to get there. This workshop is great for FedUni students just starting out on their leadership journey and for those wanting to re-evaluate where you are on your leadership journey.

Days for Girls Packing Event:
Bump up your volunteer hours, meet like-minded students and help to empower girls and women worldwide with more dignity, health and safety by making and packing sustainable menstrual products.

After distribution of Days for Girls kits, school absence rates dropped in Kenya from 25% to just 3%, in Uganda they dropped by a staggering 28%. See the difference you can make by spending one lunchtime putting together material supplies for women across the world.FedUni students and staff are welcome to come for the whole 2 hours or drop in for whatever time you have free.

Blended Learning Mental Health First Aid (10 Points for attending):
Mental Health First Aid Training can now be accessed in a blended learning style with online and face to face training. This accredited course includes between 8 to 10 hours of online learning, which must be completed prior to attending a face-to-face, half-day session with FedUni's student counselling team. The course fee is $50 paid directly to Mental Health First Aid Australia.

This course teaches tertiary students how to assist a peer who is developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crises, using case studies, videos and resources to their learning needs. The mental health first aid skills learnt can be applied to help any adult. Please note that the Mental Health First Aid Handbook can be accessed in an electronic version or can be purchased prior to attending the face to face component of the course.
