Volleyball

Federation University Australia Volleyball (FedUni volleyball), is a University established program based at the Mt Helen Campus. Our program provides social and competitive volleyball for FedUni students, staff and the greater community.

The FedUni Volleyball represents FedUni at both the Southern and Australian University Games. Fielding teams in both beach and indoor volleyball across men's, women's and mixed competitions.

One of the fundamental aims of our program is to assist students from all backgrounds to access free sporting opportunities. There is no membership fee or participation cost to our members and this program relies on donation and fundraising activities to ensure its sustainability.

FedUni volleyball endeavours to assist our students build their social support network and engage with their University community and peers through sport. This work helps decrease student’s sense of isolation and has shown to increase their retention at University and TAFE.

Wednesday night session

Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm (starting 01st February 2017)

Venue: Brown Gym, P Building, Mt Helen Campus

Date: All-year round, except for public holidays, University Christmas and New Year shut down periods

Cost: Free

Other info: Equipment provided, please wear non-marking shoes and suitable clothing

All levels of skills and experience welcome

Age restriction: Members and players must be over the age of 16
