Screen2Screen counselling

This service enables off campus students, enrolled in FedUni programs, to have a face-to-face counselling appointment using video link technology.

How does it work?

At an appointed time, a FedUni Counsellor will make a video call to you. This will enable you to see and communicate directly with them.

What to expect

Your appointment will take 50 minutes and will be similar to a face-to-face counselling appointment. You will need to ensure that you are in a private place where you can talk freely without interruption.

Technology requirements

You will need to have:

  • A computer with a working camera
  • Installed Office365 and Lync software - free to FedUni students.
  • A reliable internet connection (tethering your smart phone is not recommended).

Note: The session will use approximately 250MB.

Before your appointment

A checklist and counselling consent form will be emailed to you. These forms are to be reviewed, completed and where possible scanned and returned prior to your appointment. If you are uncertain of how to complete the forms please contact us on (03) 5327 9470.
