English language requirements
Applicants must meet the minimum English Language Requirements for entry into a Federation University Australia program. The English Language Requirement for general programs, such as business, IT and general science, is Academic IELTS Overall score of 6.0, with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.
English test results must be valid prior to commencement date at FedUni. Every student will be assessed individually, and packaging the main program with an English and Academic Preparation program will be considered.

Pathways to study
Students who do not meet the English Language Requirements for their program of choice may be eligible to study an English and Academic Preparation (EAP) program in order to improve their English skills to the required level.
EAP programs are designed to assist international students to gain entry into higher education degrees that require an Academic IELTS of 6.0. Study can be as short as 5, 10, 15 and 20 weeks and give students a great start to academic success. The EAP programs run before your first semester starts.

We can also accept the following academic qualifications as meeting our general English Language requirements if the applicant does not have a valid English test result. All qualifications must have been undertaken no more than 2 years prior to enrolment at FedUni.
