So you’ve decided you want to become a teacher... Congratulations! A rewarding and successful career awaits you.

You may have heard that the mandatory ATAR requirement for 2018 is changing. However – at Fed Uni there are multiple pathways to become a teacher – regardless of your ATAR, so watch on!

Do you expect to achieve an ATAR score of 65 or more? You can apply through VTAC for a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Health & Physical Education and start your journey to a career as a VIT accredited teacher.

Don’t expect to achieve the minimum required ATAR score? Don’t worry, we have many other pathway options available to you. Fed Uni selects students based on their future potential, not past achievement.

Choose from a Bachelor of Education Studies, Bachelor of Sport, Physical & Outdoor Education or Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care.

From these programs, many exciting career options await you in the Adult Education sector, Leadership or coaching, Community Health, Outdoor Education and more!

Still aiming for VIT accreditation? Some students may even be able to fast track this after the first year in these programs, based on performance. So you may be on your way to a career as a VIT accredited teacher before you know it.

Or you could progress to a Master of Teaching after Graduation.

With Special Entry Access Scheme some students with lower ATAR scores who have experienced disadvantage during study may be eligible for assistance to get them to a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Health & Physical Education, faster. Find out if you’re eligible.

So with so many options and support all the way, choose Fed Uni to become a great teacher – by great teachers.
