Andrew Matheson - Technical Manager, Service Operations
Andrew has been working at FedUni since 2005 and has a wealth of experience in programming, application administration, application integrations and performance tuning.
In his role as Technical Manager, Service Operations, Andrew is responsible in providing technical leadership and oversight to an end-to-end Service Operations team and acts as team lead for the Corporate Solutions team.
The primary focus of the role is to provide expert technical guidance and tactical support to all Service Operations Team Leaders.
Other duties include:
- Ensure ongoing availability, maintenance and support of the University's Administration Systems (UAS)
- Assisting with the planning and design to ensure business requirements are met and services are delivered cost effectively to the agreed service levels
- System optimisation and continuous improvement
- Provide technical / tactical support and advice to the ITS team and the wider University community
Andrew's vision is to see ITS become a key part in making the current and ongoing Federation University Australia experience the best it can be for students, staff and the wider community.
